Deborah Beads has been opened by Debbie Bishop, a married lady in her early 40's (maybe), mother of two who fell in love with jewellery making.

Debbie opened Deborah Beads in September 2009 and in July 2010 launched Deborah Beads Online. Debbie wanted to share her passion for beads and jewellery with other people and soon found a whole group of fabulous and loyal customers. She was very pleased in December 2010 when she was able to double the size of the shop, making it the biggest bead shop in North Essex.

She is proud that she has been able to expand, inviting experienced craft teachers into her shop to teach Silver Art Clay, Enamelling and Bead Making, as well as taking her own lessons from beginners to advanced.

Debbie has a good working relationship with a local bridal shop, Hilary B, and has commissioned many pieces as a result of this relationship.

Working along side a friend who is a fellow jewellery maker, she has hosted and attended numerous jewellery parties and events.

Basically, Debbie has a love for beads, jewellery making and meeting like minded people. She makes every attempt to make Deborah Beads everything she would want from a bead shop and more!
